Dark & Strong Maple Cream is made from a mix of Organic Grade A Dark and Grade A Very Dark Maple Syrup. Our adventurous and unique Dark & Strong Maple Cream has a strong and complex maple flavor with a bitter-sweet finish. Every batch has it's own nuance of flavor, from caramel to smoky molasses. Sadly Dark maple cream cannot be whipped to the perfect smoothness of the lighter maple cream we offer. The choice is yours: Strong flavor and a slightly more crystallized texture of Dark maple cream or the milder, sweeter flavor of Golden maple cream with it’s perfect smoothness.

Just like our maple syrup, maple cream can be used for countless different dishes, spreads, and toppings. Here are some of our favorites: On top of your favorite ice cream, spread onto warm waffles and pancakes, add to crepe filling for creamy maple finish, stir into hot cereals such an oatmeal and cream of wheat, use as a sweet glaze for chicken and pork, frost cakes or breads, and our personal favorite- a spoonful straight from the jar!
